HR Generalist - $2,500 Signing Bonus

$2,500 Signing Bonus after the successful completion of 90 days.
Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will assist in running the daily functions of the HR department including recruitment, assist in conducting employee onboarding, employment law compliance and assisting with policy implementation.
This is a hybrid position with a minimum of two days per week in office.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Utilizes all manners of technology and available resources and tools including social media for recruitment Updates and creates documentation for employee changes, new hires and separations to ensure personnel files are complete including signed job offers, job descriptions, evaluations and other related documents, following up with staff to obtain signatures as applicableAssists in conducting new hire orientation and onboarding processes, including guiding new staff through the completion of employee paperwork, review of employee handbook, policy discussion and timekeeping instructions Maintain and oversee the Workers Compensation programsMaintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits regulations, including ensuring legal postings are currentComplete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 filesAssists in maintaining the employee handbook and communicating updated policies to employees Verifications of employment File / scan documents into appropriate personnel filesEvaluates HR processes and technologies to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness, utilizing existing software capabilities and all available resources and tools PM19Minimum of 1 to 2 years HR experience required Minimum of 1 to 2 years recruitment experience highly preferred Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred SHRM-CP a plusBenefit Administration knowledge preferredRegulations Compliance knowledge preferredPI227024389 Recommended Skills Administration Business Administration Communication Human Resources Labour Laws Recruitment Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
