Job Description:
This role is responsible for leading an Electrical Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) and support our growing and exciting space businesses.
You will have direct influence on program designs, builds, integration, and testing satellite imaging payloads, and lead a cross-functional technical design team with full technical, cost, & schedule responsibility.
This position is designated as Hybrid-3 days onsite a week.
Essential Functions:
Establish relationships with Engineering peers, management, and product development teams to ensure programs are meeting the needs of the business.
Ensure program deliverables are met through managing the schedule, technical requirements, costs, and conducting reporting and analysis in the Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
Conduct risk management activites and implement root cause corrective action (RCCA) for design escapes and program execution issues.
Provide technical evaluation and oversight of program execution and lead technical and lead and participate in technical Independent Review Teams (IRT) Obtain security clearance Periodically travel up to 10% to customer and vendor site
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Five (5) or more years relevant Engineering & Project Leadership experience Five (4) or more years experience in Aerospace, Military, or Space applications Experience in Electrical Engineering Additional Skills Considered:
Experience with cradle-to-grave design and cross-site/cross-functional project management.
Knowledge of digital, power, analog, or controls circuit design, FPGA design Experience with supplier management and procurement Certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $125,500.
